Since 2014, board-certified dermatologist Dr. Carrie Cobb has provided patients of all ages, from newborns to their great-grandparents, with the highest-quality care possible. Her clinical expertise in effectively diagnosing and treating a variety of skincare conditions, including severe acne, psoriasis, rashes, warts, and other disorders, has made her one of the top dermatologists in Central Virginia, while her compassionate care has earned her the trust of hundreds of satisfied patients.
Dr. Cobb is committed to patient education and passionate about building relationships with everyone who walks through her doors. By listening to their concerns, tailoring medical treatments to their needs, and recommending ways they can better manage their condition, Dr. Cobb empowers each patient to play an active role in the care of their skin at every stage of life. In addition to treating chronic and acute skin problems, Dr. Cobb performs skin cancer screenings to detect any spots of concern and works closely with area cancer specialists if further evaluation is needed.
Dr. Cobb received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, graduating Cum Laude from the University in 2006. She completed her residency in dermatology at Robert Wood Johnson, Cooper University Hospital, where she served as chief resident in her final year. Following her training, Dr. Cobb joined a private practice in Annapolis, Md., where she worked until moving to Lynchburg in 2014. Six years later, Dr. Cobb, who is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, joined her sister Dr. Kristen Kuk in opening Cobb Dermatology & Aesthetics to offer patients dermatologic and aesthetic care in one convenient location.
